Warehousing
Faster, more accurate and measurably safer floor operations, reconciled against the warehouse-management system rather than paper-perfect assumptions. The Warehousing Solution Pack is fully specified, and it builds out on the safety kernel that ships today: duress, escalation, evidence.
A fulfilment floor, drawn as a plan
Racking aisles off the main cross-aisle, docks at one end, cold store and office at the other. Pickers and forklifts move down aisles and through openings, not across racking.
An illustrative layout and illustrative movement, not a customer site and not live data. Real deployments import the actual plan and its real zone names from the positioning engine or from CAD, rather than anyone redrawing them.
What the platform brings to the floor now
The pack catalogue is specification. The life-safety runtime underneath it is the same kernel deployed in healthcare, and a distribution centre is exactly the environment it was built for: big, loud, and full of people working alone.
Duress, man-down and the lone worker
A picker deep in the racking at 2am. An operator alone in a chiller. Duress from the tag or the handset is priority one at origination, with man-down and lone-worker supervision on the same kernel. The alarm carries the resolved aisle and zone, with staleness gating that prefers the right aisle to a confidently wrong dot.
Escalation and evidence
A closed-loop, tiered ladder climbs until a human acknowledges, on a schedule held in the database where a process restart can't touch it. Acknowledgement stands the alarm down everywhere at once, and every step lands on a tamper-evident audit trail with replay: the record a WHS review actually accepts.
The hardware you already run
Duress tags, fixed buttons, positioning engines, handsets and security panels attach through adapters that are first-class, health-checked and never metered. The architecture is vendor-agnostic; every technology normalises to one canonical fix. No rip-and-replace.
The catalogue, stated as what comes next
The full pack is specified as a catalogue of use cases on the same tags, the same infrastructure and the same core engines. Enable a subset and you inherit the rest as latent capability. Everything below is specification, sequenced for delivery and stated as such.
Forklift–pedestrian proximity
Proximity warning between powered mobile plant and people on foot, in the aisles where they actually meet.
MHE collision avoidance & blind corners
MHE-to-MHE interaction awareness and blind-corner alerting at the intersections every site knows by name.
Near-miss capture & hot-spot analytics
Near-misses recorded as events, not memories, then aggregated into the hot-spot map that directs layout change.
Cold-store entrapment timer
A lone worker in the freezer on a dwell timer, with overdue presence escalated before it becomes an emergency.
Evacuation muster & roll-call
Muster-point reconciliation and an unaccounted-persons view when the site evacuates.
Pallet & stock search
The misplaced pallet found by query rather than by walking, and the search-time recovered for the pick.
Slot-level reconciliation vs the WMS
Physical position reconciled against the WMS at slot level, so inventory accuracy is measured, not assumed.
Pick-path & slotting optimisation
Travel measured from real movement, feeding pick-path and slotting decisions with evidence.
Replenishment triggering
Pick-face replenishment triggered from live state rather than from the end-of-shift walk.
MHE utilisation & rightsizing
Forklift and tug utilisation by shift, so the fleet is sized and hired on usage rather than habit.
Congestion heat-mapping
Congestion and bottleneck patterns by aisle and by hour, so the layout conversation happens on data.
Floor dashboards & copilots
The pack specifies Floor Operations, Inventory Accuracy and Warehouse Safety dashboards, plus AI assistance: Pick Route Agent, Slotting Agent, Replenishment Agent, Safety Proximity Agent. AI in WillowCreek is being built to be explainable and human-supervised. It will propose; people decide.
Honesty is the feature: anything not yet in place is told to you as such, in writing, before go-live.
What the pack is specified to measure
These are the measurements the pack is designed to produce. They're stated as specification, not as results we claim today.
- Picks per hour and travel time: productivity measured from movement, not sampled.
- Inventory accuracy and misplacement rate: the physical floor against the WMS, continuously.
- Forklift–pedestrian near-miss rate: with speed-zone breaches, by area and by shift.
- MHE utilisation: idle time and fleet rightsizing evidence.
- Duress response time: raise to responder-on-scene, from the audit trail, not from anecdote.
Specified against the duties you carry
The pack is specified against the obligations warehouse operators actually answer to: the primary duty of care under the model WHS laws, the traffic-management expectations that follow powered mobile plant sharing space with people, dangerous-goods storage and segregation rules, and HACCP and the Food Standards Code on food-grade sites. Where the requirement is evidence, the platform's tamper-evident, replayable audit trail is real today; the warehousing workflows above it are specification, and stated as such.
Certification status is provided per deployment in commercial documentation. See Trust & security.
Built for the people on the floor
- Pickers and MHE operators: help that arrives at the right aisle, and near-misses that count for something.
- Shift managers: one floor picture instead of radios and walking.
- WHS and safety managers: a near-miss and response record that stands up to review.
- Inventory controllers: accuracy measured against the WMS, not asserted.
- ICT: signed containers on your own infrastructure, adapters instead of rip-and-replace.
50 specified use cases
Every operational capability this pack is designed to deliver, grouped as the specification groups them, each mapped to the core engines that would configure it. A buyer enables the subset they need; nothing here is a separate product.
What this catalogue is. These are specified use cases: design work we have completed, each one mapped to the core engines that would deliver it and carrying its own identifier so it can be quoted, scoped and tracked. It is not a feature list. No use case in this catalogue runs today. The duress and location core beneath it does, and it is the same core every pack configures. Anything marked as running today is running today, and everything else is specification. Ask us about any entry and we will tell you plainly where it stands.
