Deployment

An install, not an assembly

A WillowCreek deployment runs on your infrastructure, keeps the hardware you already own, and earns your trust in a fixed order: demonstrate, verify, sign off, then operate. Nothing is billed before it is evaluated, and nothing goes live before it is demonstrated.

Three commitments

What every deployment is built on

Life-safety comes first, always

A duress alarm is never delayed or disabled by a licence state, an expired subscription or any commercial condition. Ever.

It works with the hardware you have

The platform ingests from your existing positioning engines and tags rather than demanding its own. No rip-and-replace.

It runs your way

Fully automated "set-and-forget" sites, staffed control-room sites, or both across one estate. The operating model is configuration, not a product choice.

The path

Six steps from first conversation to live operation

The order is deliberate. Evaluation comes before billing, assurance comes before go-live, and a named human signs off before anyone relies on the system.

  1. Discovery

We walk your sites, your hardware and your operating model with your team: what raises alarms today, who responds, what must never break. The output is a shared picture, not a quote.

  2. Evaluation on your own data

You evaluate the platform against your own sites and scenarios, with the included lab environment for rehearsal and testing. Evaluation precedes billing: a 90-day evaluation converts to a multi-year term only when the outcome is demonstrated.

  3. Adapter onboarding

Your existing positioning engines, duress devices and local systems attach through adapters. That's work we do with you, never metered, never charged per connection. No rip-and-replace. How the adapter seam works →

  4. Site stand-up

Your administrators create and configure sites themselves, self-service through Command Centre: zones, roles, escalation targets, operating hours. Nobody builds your sites for you, and nobody needs to.

  5. Assurance

The life-safety assurance verification runs against your deployment, not against a reference environment. Where formal life-safety sign-off applies, it is a separate, named-human step: a responsible person reviews the evidence and signs, by name, before go-live.

  6. Operate

The platform supervises itself and everything connected to it. Adding a site later means adding an appliance at that site and switching it on centrally. Your tags and licences move with you.

A deployment in practice

The pilot: a rural multi-site health district

Our pilot customer is a rural multi-site health district: small facilities, long distances, no staffed control room. That's the point. If the operating model works there, it works where staff are scarce and every alarm matters.

What the deployment looks like

One central installation on the district's own virtualisation cluster, and one compact positioning appliance at each site, with no servers in the facilities. The district's existing duress tags, staff handsets and security panel stay in service and attach through adapters.

Escalation targets are SMS and the district's existing security monitoring provider. The sites run set-and-forget: rules and escalation ladders do the routing, local staff respond, and there is no staffed control room anywhere in the picture. By design, not as a compromise.

The architecture behind it →
District virtualisation cluster site runtimes · databases + standby estate console · included lab Site · health facility positioning appliance Site · health facility positioning appliance tags · handsets · panel SMS · monitoring provider

Existing hardware kept, escalation to SMS and the district's monitoring provider.

The honesty clause, from the pilot pack itself: "A pilot is exactly that, and we treat it with that honesty. Every capability in this pack is demonstrated before you rely on it, and anything not yet in place is told to you as such, in writing, before go-live."

Who provides what

A clean split, agreed up front

What we need from you

  • Infrastructure to spec. Linux virtual machines on the hypervisor you already operate (VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V or others), or bare metal. A modest virtual-machine footprint with a mandatory database standby; the exact build comes out of a short sizing worksheet we complete with you.
  • Network. Standard HTTPS between sites and centre, NTP on every host, and a nominated backup target. No inbound firewall rule into your site network is required.
  • Hardware. Your positioning engines, locators, tags and handsets: the equipment you already own, or equipment you procure through your usual channels. We don't sell hardware.

What you get from us

  • The platform software, with every module included. Control Room, Command Centre, Mobile, kiosk, escalation, reporting, replay, simulation and administration. Nothing is licensed separately.
  • Adapters, never metered. An adapter is work we do with you, not an item picked from a shelf. It never appears on an invoice line.
  • The lab environment, included. Rule rehearsal, scenario testing, integration work and training, alongside every deployment. Simulated events can never reach a real outbound channel.
  • Assurance. Life-safety assurance verification against your deployment, and the formal sign-off process where it applies.
