Mining

Fuse positioning, proximity and environmental context into graded, coordinated safety controls, so the question "who is underground, where, and are they safe" has one authoritative answer. The pack is fully specified, and it builds out on the same core that ships today.

On the floor

Underground decline and levels, live

A schematic of an underground decline and its levels, with tags moving through it. People, assets and safety devices are all the same kind of tracked entity to the platform, differing in the rules attached to them rather than in the mechanism. Watch a safety device long enough and you will see one raise.

An illustrative layout and illustrative movement. Not a customer site, not live data, and not a claim about any particular deployment. Zone names are the vocabulary this industry already uses, which is exactly what the platform is configured with.

Available today

What the platform brings to a mine site now

What ships today is the life-safety kernel: duress, man-down, lone worker, closed-loop escalation and evidence. It runs on your infrastructure, on the tags and positioning hardware you choose.

Duress and man-down for the crew

A worker raises duress from a wearable tag, or a man-down event fires without them pressing anything. Either way the event is priority one at origination, carries the resolved position with quality and freshness attached, and nothing in your configuration can downgrade it.

Lone workers, chased not hoped for

Check-in schedules with overdue escalation cover the fitter alone on a remote task. Deadlines live in the database, not in process timers. A restart cannot lose an escalation mid-climb, and two instances cannot double-escalate.

Honest health, honest evidence

A positioning feed that cannot be read returns unavailable, never a plausible zero. Feed loss raises one infrastructure alarm, not a per-tag storm. Every event lands on a tamper-evident audit trail with replay: the record a mine can put in front of a regulator or an investigation.

Where the pack sits: the Mining Pack sits above the mine's certified safety systems. Proximity detection, gas detection and ventilation control remain the source of truth for their domains. The pack is specified to consume their outputs, correlate them with position, and coordinate the human response. It never replaces a certified control.

The Mining Pack specification

What the pack catalogue specifies

The Mining Solution Pack is specified as a full catalogue of use cases on the same tags, the same infrastructure and the same core engines. A site enables a subset and inherits the rest as latent capability. The catalogue is specification rather than shipped software, and every entry below says so.

Running today

Tag-in, tag-out & occupancy

Underground tag-in and tag-out producing an authoritative live occupancy count: who is below, by name.

Running today

Personnel by level & heading

Real-time personnel location by level and heading, with cage boarding and go-line counts.

Running today

Vehicle–pedestrian interaction

Vehicle-to-pedestrian proximity awareness, haul-road pedestrian exclusion, and near-miss hotspot analytics by area and shift.

Running today

Gas exceedance, graded

Graded alerting on district gas exceedances (CO, CH4, CO2, O2) from the mine's certified detection, with hazardous-atmosphere withdrawal alerting.

Running today

Refuge-chamber occupancy

Live refuge-chamber occupancy against rated capacity during an event. Who is in, and how much room remains.

Running today

Muster reconciliation

Real-time muster reconciliation by muster point, and an outstanding-persons board by last-known zone.

Running today

Blast-zone clearance

Clearance verification of the blast exclusion zone before firing. Evidence, not a radio round-robin.

Running today

Isolation & LOTO zones

Zone-entry control for isolated plant and lockout-tagout areas, with entry attempts recorded.

Running today

Cumulative exposure registers

Cumulative noise, dust and heat exposure by person against occupational limits, feeding the statutory exposure register.

Running today

Dashboards & AI agents

The pack specifies Underground Occupancy, Muster Board, Vehicle Interaction and Gas & Ventilation dashboards, plus AI assistance: Collision-Risk Predictor, Muster Reconciliation Agent, Gas-Trend Agent. AI in WillowCreek is being built to be explainable and human-supervised. It will propose; people decide.

Honesty is the feature: anything not yet in place is told to you as such, in writing, before go-live.

Outcomes

What the pack is specified to measure

Every measure below is defined in the pack specification, and every dashboard that reports it is specified to state its own limits. We publish no benchmark figures. Your numbers will be yours.

  • Muster reconciliation time: from evacuation called to every person accounted for.
  • Near-miss rate and hotspots: vehicle–pedestrian interactions by area and shift.
  • Missed check-in rate: lone-worker compliance and overdue-escalation frequency.
  • Gas exceedance exposure: exceedance frequency and time-in-exceedance by district.
  • Cumulative exposure: noise, dust and heat against occupational limits, per person.
  • Refuge occupancy: occupancy against rated capacity during drills and events.
Who it serves

Built for the people who hold the count

  • Miners and crews: help that finds the right heading, not the right guess.
  • ERZ controllers and statutory officials: an authoritative occupancy picture and an evidence trail that stands up.
  • Control-room operators: one ranked queue over live events, dark-themed for the twenty-four-hour room.
  • Mines-rescue and emergency response: the outstanding-persons board by last-known zone, specified in the pack.
  • Site ICT and OT engineering: signed containers on your own infrastructure, adapters instead of rip-and-replace, never metered.
Governance

Built for the regime mines answer to

The pack is specified against the obligations mining operators actually carry: state WHS mining Acts and regulations, Principal Hazard Management Plans, the EMESRT layered-control framework and ISO 21815 for vehicle interaction, and statutory gas trigger levels. The pack's role is consistent throughout: coordination and evidence above the certified controls, never a substitute for them.

Control expectations the architecture is built to satisfy, never certifications held. Certification status is provided per deployment. See Trust & security.

The catalogue

50 specified use cases

Every operational capability this pack is designed to deliver, grouped as the specification groups them, each mapped to the core engines that would configure it. A buyer enables the subset they need; nothing here is a separate product.

What this catalogue is. These are specified use cases: design work we have completed, each one mapped to the core engines that would deliver it and carrying its own identifier so it can be quoted, scoped and tracked. It is not a feature list. No use case in this catalogue runs today. The duress and location core beneath it does, and it is the same core every pack configures. Anything marked as running today is running today, and everything else is specification. Ask us about any entry and we will tell you plainly where it stands.
